Slow Backup Performance using built-in SCSI port

Dear all,

I am currently using a HP StorageWorks B3000 V2 with pre-installed Windows Powered OS; I am using Veritas Backup Exec v.9.0 to conduct backup to a locally attached HP LTO2 StorageWorks 460 Tape Drive.

Recently, the NAS server is facing very slow backups (as slow as 1MB/min). I would like to know how would I be able to solve this issue.

You should be using a dedicated 29160/39160 type HBA for the Ultrium2 drive.
