Surestore HD Server 4000
Hi.
We have many Workstations running WinNT that currently access the HD4000 with authentication over an NT Server. We would upgrade the server to Win2003 SBS and few Workstations to WinXPPro. The many Workstations would remain on WinNT.
Would the HD4000 function correctly and be accessible on a mixed network? (I have read about the experiences with W2K....)
Thanks in advance for your hints.
Andy

Re: Surestore HD Server 4000
Hi Andy,
Sorry but no, the HD4000 does not work well with Win 2k/xp/2003.
The workaround that we use is to let the 2k and xp clients connect to the HD4000 via Windows Commander just map the drives and view them through the program.
Have never tested this for 2003.
Regards,
SCOOTER
