Version 5.x migrating shares

I am attempting to migration data from 1 domian to my new domain, my old domain has a nas with about 4 terr. of data, I want to map a drive from a source server to the nas and then migrate this data. However once the drive is mapped I can see it within windows however the software does not see this mapping as a hard drive letter.
