Hello communities.
I'm Hisashi
I have a question that I saw the same System ROM uses StoreEasy 1460 and DL360Gen10 Server(U32) while booting system.
Both StoreEasy and DL Server were displayed "U32 v2.32_03-09-2020 "
Is this exactly same System ROM?
U32 is for DL360Gen10 right?
I know that StoreEasy based on DL360/380 server.
Also, Can we use DL380Gen10(U30) System ROM for StoreEasy 1660?
Could you give me knowlegde please.
thanks.

Re: What firmware difference between StoreEasy 1460/1660 and DL360(U32)/380Gen10(U30) Servers?
Yes your understanding correct
HPE StoreEasy 1460 based on ProLiant DL360 Gen10
HPE StoreEasy 1560 based on ProLiant ML110 Gen10
HPE StoreEasy 1660 based on ProLiant DL380 Gen10
HPE StoreEasy 1860 based on ProLiant DL380 Gen10
HPE StoreEasy 1660 Expanded based on Apollo 4200 Gen10
You can go through product quickspec to get the details as well (Page no 45)

Thank you for your reply.
I’d like to get a better understanding of your reply that can we use same System ROM for both StoreEasy and DL Servers?
Is this correct understanding?
Regards
Hisashi.

SolutionYes both systems hardware wise same so ROM is also same.
Both systems differs with software. For HPE StoreEasy systems one special bundle getting used which is called Service Release (SR)
In order to update driver/firmware you need to update SPP only. Please find latest SPP 2020.03.0 link,
https://techlibrary.hpe.com/us/en/enterprise/servers/products/service_pack/spp/index.aspx#
You can go to component level release notes and search with keyword "U32",
Hope this helps!
