HELP PLEASE can a system restor be done on a nas1200s using a dc3000 (DVD Movie Writer)or can I use any exteranl dvdrom ?

I'm attaching the Quick Spec for the 1200s. You need to have a USB external DVD device. As pointed out in the Quick Spec under Optical Devices, the HP dvd300e works as well as the HP dvd200e. The HP DVD Movie Writer dc3000 does NOT work with the 1200s .. it hangs at the initial Quick Restore screen, although it works with a StorageWorks NAS 1500s.

I need to buy a DVD player today to restore a NAS 1200. CompUsa has a DVD writer 630e not the dvd300e. Will that work as I don't have time to have one shipped. Thanks!
