Windows Update on NAS 1200s

I read a comment that we should NOT enable Windows Update on a NAS 1200s. Is that true?

If so, how do we make sure it gets what it needs?

This is true and to enable them may completely mess your box up. To update use the HP servie release, latest we have is 5.5 but may be a later one, see the hP web site, this will put all MS citical updates on as well as service pack 1.
