1/8 Autoloader can't be recognized by BackupExec
Hi there,
I have one 1/8 Ultrium 960 Autoloader connected to one DL580 G3 server running Windows 2003 Ent Edition. It can be seen from the Device Manager as a right Media Changer, but it can't be detected as an Autoloader or Robotics Library in the BackupExec 9.1 (the tape drive --- shown as HP 1 LTO 3 --- could be seen as standalone drive). I've installed the latest Device Driver Bundle (3853) from Veritas. What could be wrong here?
Thanks in advance.

Re: 1/8 Autoloader can't be recognized by BackupExec
If this version of BE supports Autoloaders then probably don't have LUN support enabled on the SCSI controller. If you are using the on board controller you may need to purchase a separate Ultrs 3 controller
