1/8 G2 auoloader error: drive loggedaout code fb00
hi
i have a 1/8 G2 autoloader unit that was working fine for a while but now when you power on the unit and it enter in the ready state, 2 min later it shows this rror message: drive loggedout error code: fb00. What could be the cause of this error?
PD: sorry for my english im latin and dont speak the english very well.
P.S. From Tape > Tape Backup (Small and Medium Business)to Tape Libraries and Drives. -HP forum moderator

Its easy to said "Replace the drive"
Can somebody, think in a way to solve this problem?
In my case Cartridge is stuck into the drive
waiting for your accurate and logical answer

How do you want to repair a dead drive?
Tape drives may get mechanical problems (mot of the times) or problems with the electronics inside. In both cases there is nothing you can repair except a unit replacement.
Here is how you can remove the tape:

Brother try pulling back your msl tape library to an older firmware.
