35/70, Compression!!!

We have a TL891 connected to a Proliant 8000. At this moment, we are using the native TN Backup utility, but we can not apply the tape compression. We tried both the HI and SC compression separately but only achieved a 38 BB backup, after that, we received a prompt for a second tape. We are trying a 60 BB backup and we want it in a single tape with the compression on. We are backing up some big images (around 100 and 200 BB).

I would appreciate any help.
