Is it possible to configure the floppy connector for the backup? My primary and secondary IDE connectors are taken up by 2 hard drive, a cd and a cd r/w.

I would think the answer would be no. If you need another IDE connector, look into getting a PCI adapter that would expand your IDE connections.

Ed, there is no way to make that drive work on a floppy controller. On another note, however, that drive has been out of support life for 2 years now so you may want to consider a different backup option
