8GB Colorado External Drive Catalog errors

I am using an 8GB Colorado External drive with a Windows 95 PC. I continually get an error message stating that my catalog is corrupt, and asking if I want to repair it. If I respond yes, it says it is repaired, but I still get the same error message. I have tried erasing the tape, and deleting the catalog files but to no avail. Does any one have any ideas as to how to fix this and what is going on? Thank you - any help would be appreciated.

Hi Bill,

Do you have another tape available to you to try? That will determine pretty quickly if the problem is with the tape or the drive itself.
