90:51 error
hallo all
i have MSL 6030 tape library with data protector 5.5 when i try to start a backup the error massage( 90:51 -can not write to device 1117 the request can't be performed because I/O error and tape media be poor
all patches downloaded and logical disk manager service stoped and FC service in inactive list but problems not fixed

Hi,
at first please check if the removable storage manager is disabled.
If the Library is FC connected there are some recommendations with DP 5.5:
if scsiport driver is used -> disable devices in Windows Device Manager
if Storport Driver is used -> enable Devices in Windows Device Manager and install latest storport.sys from MS.
Try to test the Drive with Library and Tape Tools (Assessment Test). Install latest Firmware...
