A4846 Library With 4 DLT7000 drives

We have an A4846 Library with 4 DLT7000 drives. Currently we are facing problems with the Library initialisation. It gives an extract overlay error 3F11. Is there any information available on the error codes.
Also we noticed that it boots through a floppy. Can anybody know the procedure to create one more spare copy of the disk. The details of the same are as follows -

A4645A/A4846A FILES Version Level 1.8.05 Date -03/15/98.

Hi,

the latest firmware for your lib was 2.01.04, but I can't find it anymore.
Contact HP for it.

It should be enough to use diskcopy to make a copy of the floppy.

Hope this helps!

I tried diskcopy but it gives a unrecoverable write error while making a target disk. Is there any other means by which i can create the disk.
Secondaly do you have any idea about the error codes and where can i find the related information.

Re: A4846 Library With 4 DLT7000 drives

A write error may due to a bad destination disk. Try to format the floppy and take a new one, if there are errors or bad blocks on it.

Hope this helps!
