AIT 35 LVD with AIT 35GB data cartridge problem URGENT

When I start hp tape tools it says that an AIT 2 cartridge is in the tape device, But its a AIT 35 GB tape. (isn't that a AIT - 1 normally?)

Hp tape tools says that AIT -2 and AIT-3 tapes are incompatible with the device.

How does it come that tapetools(latest version) says it's a AIT - 2 tape?

Is this maybe a problem with the tape device or are the tapes wrong?

If I do a Inventory or quick erase job with veritas it's succesfully but a long erase doesn't work ("fault in I/O device")

And sometimes after quick erase and then inventory job.

Can anyone help me?
