Re: About temporary password for Firmware downgrade on HP Ultrium 448
What errors???
However, HP support can help you with this password.
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.

Best bet is to post the ResultLog.ltt, EventLog.ltt and a support ticket so we can take a look.
Need a bit more detail than 'some errors'!

I have not seen any product to restrict firmware operation.

Re: About temporary password for Firmware downgrade on HP Ultrium 448
At that point, all the support processes are updated to say that the latest firmware is now the supported one so if you ever need to call HP support the first thing they will do is to check your firmware version and ask you to update it if necessary.
There's usually no value in going backwards with firmware (I can't think of a case that has helped with our drivess) and the symptoms that you have don't look to be firmware related.
All of this is why we make it deliberately awkward to go backwards!
Having said all that, if you're determined to try it we can get you a temporary password. Please email the LTT support team at LTT.team@hp.com and they'll reply with the password. Please don't post it back out to the forum!
I'll let them know there's an email coming.
Let us know how you get on. Thanks.
