Adding in a Tape Drive

I have a Proliant with 2 on-board SCSI contollers (connections). It's the Compaq Smart Array 431 BIOS. Currently, I have an array connected to channel 2, and SCO sees it at 0,0,0,0 (Host Adapter, Bus, SCSI ID, LUN) And that all works just fine.

I am now trying to add in a tape drive. The only place I have to plug it in is on channel 1. But I've tried just about every possible combinations of SCSI addresses within SCO to try to talk to the tape drive, with no luck. It is physically at 0,0,2,0 but since it sees the array at 0,0,0,0 (on channel 2), I think it is getting to confused. Or at least I am...

So how should I address a SCSI tape drive (SCSI ID 2) that is connected to the first on-board SCSI chanel when the drive array is connected to the second SCSI chanel but addressed at 0,0,0,0?

Thanks,
