After HP_LTT35 installation
ioscan -fnCtape still cannot show DAT
insf -e is not good to retrieve DAT (of course drivers already available)
is there anything after LTT installation to make tape visible to server ? OR just need to reboot ??

Re: After HP_LTT35 installation
You didn't mention in this Forum that you're using a Dat USB interface, but just in case, be aware that HP-UX does not support USB hard drives or USB tape devices.
Thank you,
Vernny D.

Re: After HP_LTT35 installation
What server model and where is it connected?
Terminators in place?
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.

Re: After HP_LTT35 installation
Did you move the drive around before?
Again, what server? Where connected?
Pull and push the drive again. Check the cable for bent pins.
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.
