After a change of the tape the shurestore 24 sleeps

After I change the tape the shurestore DAT24 goes down and don't start anyway. It is also impossible to eject the tape.
After a restart of the PC the shurestore DAT24 works perfectly.

A few questions:
Is it a DAT24 'e' or 'i'?
Does the left (green) LED go out when it 'sleeps'?
What does Library & Tape Tools Device analysis report?
Does a forced eject (hold eject button down >10 seconds) work?
It could be sticking tapes, or power supply problems.
