Ait 50 eject button not working

Hi All,

I have an AIT-2 50Gb drive in a ML370 server using Arcserve, when the user wants to manually eject a tape the button does not seem to work. The back ups are all ok and whent eh job if finished then it does eject ok. Is there a software or switch setting some where that disables the button on the front panel ? Any info would be good.

Hi,

There is no such option as such to disable it.

But just to check one more thing on same. If i poer up the server and media is inside or we can say drive is intilizing. Is we Keep the eject button pressed then is it ejecting the media.

Second, If we stop services related to Arcserve does it make any changes to problem.
