Any way to download a tape drive firmware file without active subscription?
Our support contract expired a while back on MSL 4048. We recently bought a tape drive to replace the drive # 2 that went bad. The tape drive is the same model, but has a bit older firmware "B59W", and our other drive, drive # 1, has "B63W". I tried to google where I could download it from and found this link: https://support.hpe.com/hpsc/swd/public/detail?swItemId=co_12812_44 but it does not let me download the firmware saying "An active warranty or support agreement covering or must be linked to your HPE Support Center profile to access this firmware." Is there any way to get this file without paying for the new support agreement?

Re: Any way to download a tape drive firmware file without active subscription?
For StoreEver product line Support validation has been in place for a long time. An Active warranty or suport agreement covering StoreEver must be linked to your HPE Suport Center profile to access the firmware bundels.
Create a new account with HPE Passport https://cf.passport.hpe.com/hppcf/createuser.do
After sucessful Support /SAID validation, you should be able to download .
