ArcServe does not recognise tape drive, but Windows System Does

Hello,

I have just installed a 20/40GB DAT drive in a Pro 370, I have installed it on the default SCSI id of 6. There is power to it and it is connected.

I have installed the drivers in Windows 2000, and Windows Device Manager says the device is working correctly.

However Arcserve does not see the device at all.

Any pointers ?,

That's your problem, arcserve requires no drivers for windows installed, remove the drivers all should be ok
