Autoloader 1/8 and Veritas Backup Exec 8.6 problem
We have some problem with our Autoloader.
The tape work with a W2K SP3 Proliant server
After a Backup Job, we can't export the tape.
The display of the tape have the following messages:
"Drive Stopped" (the device remain in this status )
or
"door locked" ( when we try to export the tape)
Only (but non ever)if we stop and start the Veritas Device&Media Service we can export our tape.
In the Veritas Web site we have not found any issue about this. Have someone an idea?

Re: Autoloader 1/8 and Veritas Backup Exec 8.6 problem
Hi,
I'm not really sure, but I think you can give an unlock command in Veritas to tell the unit to release the unit from being claimed by Backupexec
