Autoloader 418 not working with HP-UX 11.11

We've got a HP Autoloader 418 (C6280-4000) tape silo attached to our HP-UX 11i system.
Both the autoloader and tape drive are showing up in ioscan, but the autoloader is showing a class of 'unknown'. LTT is not recognizing the autoloader. Is there any way to get the autoloader working?

Do you have the sctl driver in the kernel?

FYI, LTT needs either schgr or sctl to access the autoloader.

Attached please find instructions how to install the changer driver, so that you bring it shown as "CLAIMED" instead of "UNKNOWN" in ioscan.

Thanks using the document we were able to create a device file for the autoloader that works with the mc utility. Due to project timelines we can't modify the kernel right now, but soon as the project permits will try adding the two device libraries. Thanks again.
