Email Subscription Notifications Suspended Temporarily
We are in the process of making navigation in the Servers and Operating Systems forums simpler and more direct. While doing this, we have to temporarily suspend email notifications for subscriptions. BACKUPS: error - fbackup(3205) unable to read volume header (2K)

I am able to backup using a msl2024 fc but I receive the above error.

The error message simply means that fbackup looked on the tape and found no volume header. This situation is normal for a tape which is being used for the first time by fbackup.

If you use this tape again, then you won't see this message but it will flash a message instead showing number of times the volume is used.
