Backup Job don't stop before pulling eject lever
I have problems with a Quantum DLT Device (inside the HP Sure Store) with Veritas Backup Exec. The job terminates only if I pull the eject lever. Unless if the option eject tape after backup is set the job is still running and prevents the printout of a job log. Does anybody have encountered thios problem too?

Re: Backup Job don't stop before pulling eject lever
Christian,
You need to contact Veritas and ask them what needs to be done. It might require a firmware upgrade, or a simple patch to the OS, or a fix to their software.

Re: Backup Job don't stop before pulling eject lever
The problem is that there is no patch available from Veritas. The latest firmware of the tape is installed and additionally the tape has been replaced but no result. I have no idears any more...
Thank you for your info. Du you have other contact information to Veritas support? I used the links from the webpage but support has only the idear to install the latest NT service pack...
