Boot Error after adding DLT4000
When botting I get the following message: "1777-Slot1 Drive Array - Proliant Storage Enclosure Problem Detected. SCSI Port 2: Interupt Signal Inoperative - Check SCSI Cables. This is occuring on a Smart Array 5302-128 with firmware version 2.92.
That shouldn├втВмтДвt be a problem

Re: Boot Error after adding DLT4000
Hi,
i guess this could be SCSI bus termination problem. Also check for SCSI cables and loose connections.

Re: Boot Error after adding DLT4000
Try to use dedicated SCSI controller for your tape box. Basically, array controllers are designed to work more on active disk devices.
Cheers!

Re: Boot Error after adding DLT4000
Thats correct, the 5300 series controller only supports internal hot plug tape drives. Unless the DLT4000 is connected to something else, that is your problem.
