C1533A Drivers for Macintosh
I saw the post about firmware for PC's running a C1533A DDS drive. Can someone direct me where I can get the Macintosh driver for this device.

Re: C1533A Drivers for Macintosh
Dear Patrick,
You need to purchase a 3rd party backup application called Retrosppect from Dantz. This is the only way to support DAT drives on MAC-OS.
Regards
Rothery

Re: C1533A Drivers for Macintosh
Thank you Rothery. Your timing is coincidental. I just figured that out at about midnight last night after hours of futility. It turns out all I need to do is upgrade my Retrospect software. That fact was buried in the manual. Dantzs' site said the drive was supported, but that was based on today's versions. Not the prehistoric version I still run. Thanks for your prompt response though! Really appreciated it!
