C1533a ArcServe error.

When running backups with ArcServe 6.61 (w/ all the latest patches), our c1533a will randomly fail out with a hardware failure. It's never at the same point, sometimes it will be backing up a second HDD locally, the SQL databases, Exchange, whatever.

My supervisor thinks that it has something to do with the firmware needing to be updated, but I can't find any firmware listed when I look at the c1533a page.

Any help?

Download the diagnostics tool HP Library & Tape Tools (http://www.hp.com/support/tapetools). It can analyze if new firmware is needed, and it is also the tool required to perform the firmware update.
