Re: C1537A with HP02/HP firmware
C1573A, i.e., DDS3 drive. The current firmware revision is L4111.
Looking at the L&TT report the OS looks to be Windows.
To download firmware, click on the following URL:
http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/DriverDownload.jsp?тМй=en&cc=us&pnameOID=45593&taskId=135&prodTypeId=12169&prodSeriesId=42846&cc=usтМй=en
Choose your OS and download the firmware bundle.
Good luck,
Satish

Re: C1537A with HP02/HP firmware
Thank you for your response.
Firmware HP02 doesn├В┬┤t accept L411 version override; same version is not present in LT&T.
I Can├В┬┤t locate any .frm file that match with drive.

Re: C1537A with HP02/HP firmware
What version of L&TT are you running. You should have an option of downloading the firmware from the web.
Alternately, I am attaching the firmware file.
I am still unable to understand the nature of the issue though.
Hope this helps

Re: C1537A with HP02/HP firmware
I├В┬┤m using LT&T 4.1.
For any C1537A, LT&T suggest L411 firmware.
In this case, with HP02 firmware, LT&T allways says that ther isn├В┬┤t any firmware compatible whith the drive. I think it was a firmware used in HP9000 environment.
I├В┬┤ll probe with the file and say you.
Thank you so much.

Re: C1537A with HP02/HP firmware
I applied the file you sent, but LT&T reports as L411/HP "wrong personality"

SolutionIn that case we will have to rollback to the previous version of the firmware. Inorder to do so, we will need a override password for L&TT. This can only be obtained from the HP Tech Support unless if other ITRC members already have a password. I will look to see if I can get an override password for the downgrade. Is the tape drive an OEM?
thanks,
Satish

Re: C1537A with HP02/HP firmware
Thank you.
That unit was provided by HP as exchange (C1537-69202), a long time ago. The original part was C1555D.
