C1557A SureStore Autoloader 24x6e Option Switch settings

Hi anyone....
I've been trying to locate the Autoloader Option Switch setting the C1557A SureStore Autoloader 24x6e.
It is located at the rear of the unit with a + & - sign and a small transparent window bearing the number selected. It loks like that:~

When we got the unit, it was set to 3 & SCSI ID 1.
I later changed it(option) to 7 because I read on this forum that that's the default.
I'm still facing the problem of not being able to allow the host(server running CentOS4.1 with Arkeia Server Backup software) to control & manipulate the autoloader.
Someone with the expertise please help me...

yes, one setting is for the scsi id of the unit, then the two components (loader and drive) will be managed trought LUN, so remember to enable LUN support on your HBA

The second setting is for Option mode, should be 7 for all, and 5 for old solaris OS.
