Hi,

I've updated the firmware from C005 to C111. The HP-tools is indicating no problems and performs every test without an error but NT-backup (NT4.0 SP6a) is showing an errormessage: The Tape device has been detected and the driver has been started but the device is not responding.
I want to downgrade again to C005, is this possible?

hi,
yes it is possible to downgrade FW, you just need to call HP for a password, But
when you have this kind of problem usualy is because some software have kept control of the drive, and NTbackup cannot acces to it, check if you have some other Backup SW installed or LTT opened, eventualy you have to stop those services.
