C5713A problems

Hi,

I have a C5713A 40x6 Autochanger and it has errors when I attempt to back up to it in Arcserve. I loaded the Tape Tools and ran a self test and the log reports that the test was fine but it reported that we have non-standard switch settings?. We can't locate any switches besides the SCSI settings on the bottom or outside of the case. I attached the self test log to this message. Is there a way through software to adjust the switch settings?

The autoloader option switches are on the rear-panel and since you have external drive, the switches are inside , you will have to remove the outside casing to see them.
but before you that make sure you update the firmware,even if you have the latest firmware already installed using L&TT. also Run all the other tests from L&TT.

'Autoloader option' switch at the rear should be set to 7, and bottom dip switches all should be on except 3rd should be off
