C7971A - the memory in the tape cartridge has failed
We get an error message "the memory in the tape cartridge has failed"
The backup seem to be working just fine other then the error mentioned above. Were using Veritas Backup Exec 9.0 on Windows 2000 Server. We replaced all backup tapes and the backup drive and we will receive the error. Any ideas or suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

More often than not this is caused by firmware. Download the latest HP storageworks Library and Tape Tools and upgrade your firmware
