Can't set IP address on M2402 NSR
I need to assign my NSR the IP address 10.1.255.40. It gives me an error message stating that it is an invalid IP address. I remember from Cisco training that some vendors don't like to use the 255 subnet. How can I override this and use my intended address?
Thanks,
John Gunson

Re: Can't set IP address on M2402 NSR
This is a known issue:

The new firmware 5.03.xx is currently in the test process, and should be released this month.

The journey IS the reward.

Re: Can't set IP address on M2402 NSR
255 is reserved for broadcast ip addresses. You will not be able to override. Use another ip address on the 0 - 254 range.
