Cannot load tape into SureStore 80 DLT Drive

I was having an issue earlier regarding a tape not wanting to unload from a Surestore 80. After reading the forums, I moved the arm on the right hand side of the drive to eject the tape. The D header on the tape was fine, so I assumed it was just a fluke. To be sure, I tried to insert a new tape, however now the tape drive will not let me insert a tape unless I hold the arm back and slide it in.

When the tape is loaded, the system does not see it and the Operate Handle LED flashes continuously.

Anyone have any suggestions I may try?
