Clear alerts for EML library in CommandView TL

I have an EML library that has tens of thousands of alerts. Most are informational in nature. The other one (critical, warning, etc) are older. Is there a way to clear out the old alerts so they don't appear in CommandView?

well a quick look at the manual didn't help :-( Have you tried via Library and Tape Tools?

Nice idea, I didn't think of it.

But, there doesn't appear to be anything there either.
