Colorado 5Gb tape read problem
I regularly have to read Colorado 5Gb tapes made by customers on our external parallel tapedrive. Often but not always, these tapes give read errors or even hang the computer (Windows NT 4). When I connect the tapestreamer the tape was written on, it reads without problems. I mostly use HP Colorado Backup II 7.1 Build CPB 235B20A.
Any suggestions??

Re: Colorado 5Gb tape read problem
Sounds like a read/write head alignment mismatch between the two drives. There is no fix that I know of.
