Colorado 8GB initialization failure
I have had to rebuild a NT system which has a Colorado 8GB attached on a separate parallel card.
In attempting a backup it says that the old cartridge that worked needs initializing. I press the initialize button and it comes up with a 63,3F error. The error message details I have found mean nothing to me:
Cause: IOREQ has been queued in the driver.
Action: This is internal status and never
reported.
I have updated firmware, put on new Diagtools that say everything is OK.
Am going to try a new cartridge when it arrives and try it on another machine where it used to work...apart from this has anyone come up with the same problem, or can think of anything else to try?
Thank you.
P.S. This thread has been moevd from General to Tape Libraries and Drives. - Hp Forum Moderator
