Colorado Backup II - Use of multiple drives possible?
I'm attempting to use two HP Colorado 10/20 GB drives in one PC under Windows 2000 Professional with the Colorado II backup software. This is intended to produce 2 identical tapes on a daily basis, one of which will be used for offsite backups.
Both drives are installed and appear correctly in Device manager and the HP "Configure Devices" program, however I do not have a choice of which drive to backup data to. Only one drive is listed in the choices presented.
Since both drives are identical, and share the same name in the device list, would swapping one out for a Seagate unit (that also works with Colorado II) give me the choice of which taspe to backup to? or is there a patch/setting/trick/workaround that will get me the needed results?
Note, this system worked correctly with only one drive installed.
Any help would be appreciated!

Re: Colorado Backup II - Use of multiple drives possible?
Ignore that question :-)
Seems a simple uninstall/reinstall was all that was required to allow the software to work with both drives.
