Colorado II Taravan
The hp backup utility provided with the internal HP Backup Colorad II does not work & keep giving an error message " Insert an unused media " & then I try to inilalize the media or erase it it gives me an error message "0A-13-23-01-3000"
OS: windows 2000 Pro for workstations
The Backup Tape is :
-Internal
-Colorado II Travan 14/7GB
I am using Tapes:
-HP C4436 Data Cartridge Preformated 14/7GB (Travan Technology)
Yes It spins for 8 times & stops after 35 Seconds.
It was working before I formatted my hard disk & I reinsttalled windows 2000 pro for workstations.

Re: Colorado II Taravan
Looking at your previous thread I suggest the following: With only the power cable attached, insert the tape. You should hear in spin 7 times,(not 8) and it should complete the intitialization process in 18 seconds not 35. Anything more than this indicates either a failed drive or defective tape.
