Compaq 35/70 bad block??
in event viewer we got this error every night The device, \Device\Tape0, has a bad block.
and in backup exec the error is Storage device "Compaq 0" reported an error on a request to write data to media.
Error reported:
Data error (cyclic redundancy check)
backup failed
the backup operation alway abort after 5 gig.. i have tryed with different tape but with same result
is my 35/70 gb DLT defective??
info: one compaq 35/70gb DLT external on a stand alone server ML 5500...
anyhelp will be appreciate
