Compaq DDS4 20/40 GB DAT Drive

The tape is stuck into the drive. The eject-button doesn't respond and the command line responds with "No tape inserted" (mt.exe eject).

So... How to get it out? Help!

After some more research i found another thread on this subject. I tried everything but only the rebout helped. While rebooting i accessed the SCSI-config console and while that one was waiting i pressed eject and there it came! Nice.

Reboot and while powering up in the bios, press the eject button.
