Compaq DLT 35/70GB and SCSI adapter card
Hi there,
I am new to the world of SCSI, and not to sure what I need. I have a Compaq 35/70GB DLT Drive and I need a SCSI adapter for a Proliant DL380 running Redhat 8 and I wondered what sort of card I need.
I am looking at an Adaptec AHA-2940AU which is a 32bit PCI to Ultra SCSI adapter with a throughput of 20Mb/s, is this suitable for my device??? Does this work under linux?
Anyone have any better alternatives?
Thanks in advance

Re: Compaq DLT 35/70GB and SCSI adapter card
2940 was one of the most used in the past years, it is supported for DLT35/70 as per this link:
