Compaq DLT Library Device Failure error message
I have a Compaq DLT 15 Cartidge Library Model 1530-1 and recently started getting a "device failed" displayed on the Unit. This only happens when I kick off our backups. It passes the wellness test and excercise mechanics, as soon as I start the backups it loads the first tapes then comes up with this error. The tapes don't get stuck in the drives , all I do is powercycle the library and it runs throught the inventory check and empties the drives with no problems.
