Control number of drives reported

We are using MSL2024 library which was originally purchased in AG117A version, with 2 LTO2 drives. Now both drives are replaced with single LTO4 drive. Problem is, library continues to report it has two drives, and backup software (Symantec Backup Exec in my case) constantly shows warnings about missing drive. It doesn't cause any problems beside these annoying red-marked error messages. Is there any way to make library to report only one drive? I couldn't find such setting.
