I have tried the power options and button holding options to eject the tape.

Can you send me instruction on how to manualy remove the tape from the drive please.

Before trying to manually remove the tape if you have a copy of Library and Tape Tools try Flashing the Firmware even if the tape drive has the latest. 9 times out of 10 the tape will eject and u can continue with your backups
