Why not just use the DataProtector Express software that ships with it?

I would think that Veritas(now owned by Norton) should be able to. Check their web site. I have tried a few backup programs and have been disappointed at how bad they all are and how much they cost.
I have Veritas 10d and seems to be stable.
It also has a user friendly interface.

I have connected a Sony, Compaq,Tandberg and even a Fantom protable USB drive to it.
