DAT24i write errors
Hello everybody.
I've got a DDS3 HP SureStore DAT24i connected with an Adaptec AHA-2940UW. The problem is very simple : he refuses to write on any DDS cartdridges. The small circular brush that is mounted inside the streamer next to the rotary head drum is acutated repeatedly, presumably as the drive suspects a dusty drum and tries to clean it.
I have run the diagnostics in the HP Library & Tape Tools, and I get lots of errors messages like I/O Drive Error or Sequential Calibration Error.
Thanks for your help

Re: DAT24i write errors
It appears that your drive has hardware trouble. I suggest you call the HP support line for help.
You may consider keeping the HP L&TT support ticket handy as they may ask you for.
