We use DPE 4.0 for single server Proliant 370G5
We have Ultrium 920 SAS and supports are 800 GB cartdrige.
We would like to schedule a backup like this:

we want to put any cassette any day, for example we use to set a number to each cassette and progressively insert on backup, if today i use num,1 cassette tomorrow or between four days we will use num. 2.
Pratically we don't want to format cassette by name we want the backup works with any cassette without reading by name.

The easiest way is to set DPX up running without a rotation schedule. In the calendar you indicate which days the backup is to run.

It is the rotation schedule that connects specific tape names to specific days.
Without it any tape is accepted you stick in.
