DL891 mini library

I have a DL891 mini library connected to a Compaq 8500R running W2K3.

If I look in device manager both the Tape Drive and library are listed as working, however the hp L&TT states the following. When looking a the DEC TL800

L&TT could not identify the correct NT miniport driver to use for access to this device.

The L&TT seems to have no problem with the DEC TZ89 device.

When I try and do a large windows backup that will use multiple tapes the backups fails due to the library not loading a tape.

If the backup is small enough to fit on one tape there is no problem. It loads the first tape and completes the backup.

OK sorted that bit out by turning off RSM
Now how ever when I try and update the firmware the L&TT freezes.

I need this update, Firmware rev '0514' is out-of-date for 'TL800 (C) DEC' as of Fri Jan 17 19:00:00 2003; update to rev '0525'.

But I cant find the a direct download.

Vincent thanks for that but I am looking for the library firmware as being stated by the L&TT after running a device analysis against the library (TL800(C) DEC) device.

L&TT will download the F/W for the library and/or drives by itself. Let it fetch the file and store it locally. Then you update the library later.

The problem is L&TT is freezing up and not finding the files.
